Read around Asia was founded in 2003 to publish quality fiction and non-fiction about Asia.

We specialise in forgotten classics that deserve another look. One of our books is a novel set in China at the time of the Boxer Rebellion; another, its companion volume, is a travel narrative about Canton (Guangzhou). A third Chinese title, written by best-selling Victorian novelist Mrs Archibald Little, is our most recent publication, and we will soon be bringing you a previously unpublished novel set in Japan in the 1920s.

Books can be ordered directly from us: click on the Our Books button above to view our selection and find lots of other information about Chinese culture and history.

We hope you enjoy our classic tales as much as we do.
